This photo was owned by Eugene Howe.  On the back of the photo he wrote, Marten Hanson, Renville 1898.

This photo is of Agusta Johnson, Renville, MN as noted on the back of the photo.  It was owned by Eugene Howe.  Would love to return this photo to it's family.  Eugene noted that she was a friend.

This photo was owned by Eugene Howe.  He wrote on the back of the photo "A friend Ida taken in Ora's house at Renville Minn".   Ora was Eugene Howe's brother.  Again I'd like to see these photos find their family.

This photo was owned by Eugene Howe.  On the back of the photo he wrote Mr and Mrs Ida Johnson, Renville.  I am not sure if he wrote that correct.  I thought Ida was only a female name.  Perhaps it is Ida Johnson and her husband in the wedding photo.

I have several pictures of this family from Sacred Heart, Minn. region. I
found this amoung Gena Olson's belongings, who was born in Yellow Medicine
County. I believe this family is either friends or family of Iver and Berte
IVERSON or Arnie and Gena OLSON. If anyone recognizes this family, I would
enjoy corresponding with you. I would appreciate any help with identifying
them. I will gladly share copies of this picture with relations. Jackie

Lloyd 8 yrs; Roylard 5 yrs; Odell 3 yrs; Mable 1 yr. I believe their last
name may be Osmundson. The picture also mentions an Aunt Hannah Hendrickson.
I think the person who wrote the information spoke Norwegian. The
photographer was O.C. Sparstad in Sacred Heart Minn. I believe this family
may be related to Iver and Berte Iverson or Arnie and Gena Olson. If anyone
recognizes these children, I would enjoy corresponding with them. I would
appreciate any help with identifying them. I will gladly share copies of
this picture with relations. Jackie

This photo is from the book "The History of Franklin Minnesota" by Ruby Deming.
We believe the man in the derby hat with the white shirt is John G. O'Neil of Morton Minnesota, who was the "Road Master" of this section of track whent he picture was taken in the early 1900's.  Would appreciate any help in identifying others in the picture or who may have the original picture.

Danube, MN - I would imagine this is the main street in Danube.
There was no date on the photo.
However, with the facts I have on my Brinkmann family line,
the photo is c1903....note the horse and carriage.

My grandfather's brother, Cornelius (Con) Cronin worked at the flour mill at Morton. The back of this photo identifies this as the mill and says Frank Watters was the owner. Uncle Con is the second from the left. Does anyone know the others in the picture? This picture would have been taken before 1909.

Post card of street scene, Franklin, Minn, around 1910

My grandparents, John and Anna (Mertensotto) Cronin in 1916. They farmed in Bandon Township, Renville County. Their farm remains in the Cronin family today.

Main Street - Fairfax, Minnesota - 1911

My greatgrandparents, Patrick Cornelius Cronin and Margaret Mahoney Cronin came to Bandon Township, Renville County in 1872 by ox and cart. They began farming there just in time for the terrible grasshopper plague. Pat and Mag remained on that farm the rest of their lives. This photo was probably taken in the 1890's.

My name is Tom Floodeen. Below are pictures of my Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother, Charlie Floodeen and his wife Ida (Bergland), and their two children, Eddy and Ferry Floodeen. The pictures are taken of them inside and outside of their home. My dad told me this home resided in Renville, Minnesota. I am guessing my Grandfather Ferry is about 10 years old, which would make it around 1904. I have always thought of visiting Renville someday and seeing if by chance the house was still there. I realize it is not likely, but you never know. I was born in Crookston, MN in 1951.
